Nitrazoxanide is widely concerned as a highly effective, broad-spectrum anti-parasitic, bacterial and fungal infection of animals and humans. It is the first and only drug approved by the U.S. Drug and Food Administration (FDA) for A drug for the treatment of Cryptosporidium.
Function
In vitro studies have shown that nitazoxanide has broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiparasitic effects, and can treat worms such as dysentery amoeba, Giardia, Trichomonas vaginalis, protozoa, Campylobacter jejuni, and Clostridium difficile. Infections caused by bacteria such as Bacillus, Perfringens and Helicobacter pylori. Nitrazoxide is used in the treatment of childhood ascariasis and hymenosomiasis and can play an effect similar to albendazole and praziquantel.
